It has taken us a while but we finally have the iPad Mini 6 Cooling Case for people who don't use the Apple Pencil 2.
The main difference is that it doesn't have the holder for the Apple Pencil. But can the Apple Pencil still be attached to the iPad Mini 6? Yes it still can. The thing is, it can get knocked off more easily.
The main cooling function works the same way - it has two blower fans that gets triggered when the temperature is detected to be around 35°C or higher.
One small difference in design is at the USB-C connector. You can now leave the USB-C cable plugged in to your iPad Mini 6 when you want to remove it from the Cooling Case. This was based on one of the feedback/suggestions that we received last year and decided to implement it in this version and all subsequent batches of iPad Mini 6 Cooling Cases.
Also, if you have had the iPad Mini 4/5 Cooling Cases and you had to upgrade to the Mini 6, you don't need to get the iPad Mini 6 Cooling Case. You can just order the iPad Mini 6 Cover (without or with the Pencil holder)
Curious how you can swap out your iPad Mini 4/5 cover and replace it with the Mini 6 Cover? Check out the video below:
